  17. metal - examine shack floorboards.  drop long board on shack floor.
  18.         tie string to curved bar.  get metal shard.
  19. yellow - open furnace with padded gloves.
  20. crystal - examine fireplace.  search ash.  open locked door.
  21.           confront medusa with mirror
  22. red - turn globe until keep revealed.  get sword, armor & drink dark potion.
  23.       move bookcase.  get shield.  kill beast with sword.
  24. green - open bench.  examine songbook. play piano.
